Migrating a fintech from HubSpot to a unified Salesforce + HubSpot motion
A fintech had outgrown a single-platform setup. We designed a connected architecture — Salesforce as the system of record, HubSpot driving marketing — with a migration that lost zero pipeline.
The challenge
Sales had moved upmarket, but the tooling hadn't. Reporting was fractured across two disconnected instances and every handoff leaked data.
Our approach
A phased migration with a shared data contract between systems, deduplicated and enriched records, and lifecycle automation rebuilt end to end.
The situation
The company ran everything in HubSpot, which had served the early motion well. As deals grew larger and more complex, the team needed Salesforce’s depth for sales and revenue — without losing HubSpot’s marketing engine.
What we did
We designed a connected architecture with Salesforce as the system of record and HubSpot owning marketing, joined by a shared data contract so both systems agreed on lifecycle and ownership. We migrated in phases, deduplicating and enriching as we went, and rebuilt lifecycle automation across the seam.
The result
One source of truth for revenue, a marketing engine that still runs where the team wanted it, and a cutover that lost nothing. The stack is now ready for the AI layer the team is planning next.
